Thread: Temporary Fluttercoin mining pool now available

  1. #1

Thumbs up Temporary Fluttercoin mining pool now available

While DogeDigital sets up a more permanent solution to the failure at fluttercoinpool, Ive brought a temporary dedicated fluttercoin pool online for your continued mining enjoyment.

    URL: stratum+tcp://us-pool-1.radicalether.com:3335
    Username: <Your Fluttercoin wallet address>
    Password: <Anything you like>

    Payouts every 15 minutes.

The pool fee is presently at 1.5% of which half goes to pay for the server and the other half goes to the TeamFLT bounty fund.

    Happy mining!!!

Been mining on here for roughly 4 hours and no payments. My KH/s are low but I should still see a trickle of FLT, should I not? I see my shares being reset which means blocks are being found?

sry I'm not a miner so I have no idea how it should work hehe.

But I'm sure slax0r will clear that up as soon as he gets back online

    Hi'ya,

You definitely do have some coins coming.

I just went throughout the transaction logs. So far the pool has found quite a few blocks but they are taking a while to confirm. Unfortunately confirmations are beyond my control as they are determined by the speed of the fluttercoin network. While it is getting faster it is taking a while to build up some real speed. The beast way to speed it up is to encourage everyone you know to install and run a fluttercoin wallet. More wallets online = more speed.

    Regards,

    slax0r

Ok, so that affirmed my suspicion about being "confirmed" before sent. How many "confirmations" are needed before coins are sent? Just curious.

I think is 6 for sending, 112 for mined, but this is changing to 32 in new version.

Yes that is correct. At the present, blocks have to be confirmed before the coins are paid out. That wouldn't really be so bad except the network speed of the Fluttercoin peer2peer network really needs to be higher so the confirmations are done faster, which means everyone gets paid faster.

Its all about network speed which is beyond my control, except of course to encourage everyone to leave their Fluttercoin wallet open and running as much as possible.
