    Fork

    The network has two chains running now! Need this fixed ASAP. I have a list of addnodes that match the chain on the FLT Official Explorer, and matches the addnodes listed on BCT. Check your wallet, and make sure you are on the right chain! thekidcoin can you add a checkpoint so we can get start ignoring the clients that are on the wrong chain, they connect to me, and are causing the wallet to lock up periodically.

    My debug.log looks like this when it picks up a client on the wrong chain.

    I had tweeted him after he posted the update about the anonymous work he is doing on twitter yesterday. I also sent another tweet this morning so he should see it.

    Updating the fork fix for anyone still having issues

    This is for windows users

    1: Close your fluttercoin wallet and backup/copy your wallet.dat file from your AppData\Roaming\Fluttercoin folder into some other folder on your pc, usb drive, anywhere else but AppData\Roaming\fluttercoin folder
    2: delete all files in your folder AppData\Roaming\Fluttercoin folder
    3: Either open up notepad and paste the following into it, or you can right click in your AppData\Roaming\Fluttercoin folder, select New, then Txt Document, and paste this config in notepad.

    rpcuser=ofeefee
    rpcpassword=x
    rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
    noirc=1
    listen=0
    dnsseed=1
    server=1
    connect=54.203.244.170
    connect=54.203.244.27
    connect=54.199.237.235
    connect=98.220.203.77
    connect=76.177.91.53
    connect=71.61.60.138
    connect=192.99.159.64
    connect=209.124.227.24
    connect=70.70.239.50
    connect=107.170.172.93
    connect=66.11.162.228
    connect=192.3.177.246
    connect=98.193.106.107
    connect=69.59.38.87
    connect=86.212.55.167
    connect=173.192.30.91
    connect=178.203.9.140
    connect=213.214.63.127
    connect=65.6.105.7
    connect=24.20.116.148
    connect=66.11.162.228
    connect=69.59.38.87
    connect=178.130.36.81
    connect=178.203.9.140
    connect=192.99.159.64
    connect=83.86.92.116
    connect=82.138.34.183
    connect=72.49.250.237
    connect=71.89.43.202
    connect=82.226.151.241
    connect=80.57.14.104
    connect=195.24.143.115
    connect=148.251.70.194
    connect=212.232.53.21

    4: Save your config file now in AppData\Roaming\fluttercoin folder. Click File, then save as, change the "save as type" to "all files" and then type this as your file name. fluttercoin.conf
    5: Once that is completed, now start your Fluttercoin wallet and let it download the entire chain until it is fully synced up. "It may take a couple of mins to load up at the start so don't think it has locked up, it will eventually open up and start downloading the chain."
    6: Once you have completely downloaded the entire chain and your wallet now shows sync. Open up the debug in your wallet "the tab at the top, click help, then, debug window"
    7: With the debug window open, look where it says " current number of blocks ", make sure that block number is now matching the block number fromhttp://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/
    8: Once you are now synced with the block explorer, close your fluttercoin wallet. Now go back into your AppData\Roaming\Fluttercoin folder and delete the new file created, wallet.dat and replace it with the one you backed up from step 1.
    9: Launch your wallet again and just verify that it is still synced up with http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/ Your coins and everything should now be back to normal.

    After all that is completed, you can edit your fluttercoin.conf file again but delete everything inside and replace it with this

    rpcuser=ofeefee
    rpcpassword=x
    rpcallowip=192.168.1.*

    Latest config by ofeefee for those who are still having issues with the fork.

    Looks like most of the network is on the longer chain, cryptsy, mintpal, and bittrex are all in sync now, explorer is off, we are going to see if it will sync back up.

    If you check your "getinfo" and you are less than 96582, you need to resync. You may be able to use my previous fluttercoin.conf, but here's some new nodes, that my AWS node is connected to that appear to be in sync.

    rpcuser=ofeefee
    rpcpassword=x
    noirc=0
    listen=0
    dnsseed=1
    server=1
    rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
    connect=93.116.83.129
    connect=184.38.1.230
    connect=70.25.52.55
    connect=82.138.34.183
    connect=178.203.9.140
    connect=76.177.91.53
    connect=82.226.151.241
    connect=209.124.227.24
    connect=24.20.116.148
    connect=85.172.112.226

    Same rules apply, sync up, then change connect to addnode, and listen=0 to listen=1

    This doesn't work for me, since I do not seem to have a AppData\Roaming\fluttercoin folder anywhere on my PC. Using wallet 0.4.5.7

    Did you uninstall / delete everything or you ran setup.exe and already have fluttercoin-qt installed but can't get your wallet to sync ?

    hit the start button (windows)

    search : %appdata%

    you should see a Fluttercoin folder somewhere if not, i think you should try to backup your wallet.dat / uninstall / delete / reinstall

    -Run the .exe
    -Go to appdata/Fluttercoin
    -Delete everything, except wallet.dat
    -Copy your wallet.dat backup
    -Make a new Fluttercoin.conf with the right config (See below)

    To make the new Fluttercoin.conf :

    -In appdata/Fluttercoin : Right-click on an empty space / New / Text Document (Don't name it, New Text Document)
    -Open it and copy the config below
    -Save as / name it Fluttercoin.conf and change Type: from .txt to "all files"
    -Close it, you should now have 3 files (wallet.dat, Fluttercoin.conf and New Text Document.txt)
    -Delete the .txt
    -Go back to you other Fluttercoin folder (where you unzipped the setup.exe and fluttercoin-qt)
    -Run fluttercoin-qt it will download the blockchain for a while
    -Once it's finished verify if you're in sync with the new block explorer : http://chainz.cryptoid.info/flt/

    Config:

    server=1
    rpcuser=x
    rpcpassword=x
    listen=1
    noirc=1
    rpcallowip=192.168.1.1
